Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the till.Doc mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The service

till.Doc lets you scan or import documents, automatically reads their expiry dates and key details using AI, and reminds you before they expire by push notification and email. Reminders are a convenience feature and are provided on a best-effort basis.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. You can use till.Doc anonymously, or create an account using email or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to upload content you don't have the right to use.
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
Abuse, overload or circumvent usage limits, rate limits or security measures.
Upload malware or content that infringes the rights of others.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the documents and information you add ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit Your Content solely to provide the Service — including sending document images to our AI provider to extract expiry details, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content.

5. AI accuracy & your responsibility

till.Doc uses AI to read dates and details from your documents. AI can make mistakes. Extracted dates may be incorrect or incomplete, and reminders may be delayed or fail to deliver due to factors outside our control (such as device settings, network issues or third-party services). You are solely responsible for verifying important dates and for taking timely action on your documents. Do not rely on till.Doc as your only safeguard against missing a critical deadline.

6. Free tier & subscriptions

Your first 3 documents are free. Additional documents and reminder features require a Pro subscription, available as a monthly or yearly plan. Subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple through the App Store.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by till.Doc and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) will survive.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-extracted information or reminders will be accurate or timely.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, till.Doc will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from missed deadlines, missed reminders, inaccurate AI extraction, or loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
